About Dr. Ybarra
Dr. Ybarra is an anesthesiologist with a subspecialty board certification in Pain Medicine. Dr. Ybarra received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Medical School at San Antonio. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Medicine Fellowship at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. While at Rush, Dr. Ybarra was honored with the Kaitlin Selmeczi, M.D. Award that is awarded to physicians who exemplify humanism, devotion, and compassion. He’s currently a faculty member at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center Medical School and is passionate about providing pain relief to his patients.

Just wanted to express my gratitude to doctor Ybarra and his staff for making me feel better today!! The doctor and his entire staff are exceptionally awesome!! The effectiveness of his practice it can be easily be compared with the precision that NASA launches a space shuttle to space. Thank you!!

Most compassionate doctor I have met in a long time. I was a new patient today and very nervous about seeing a pain doctor. He explained my issues with my back and helped me make sense of it. He recommended and injection and I am so thankful my insurance allowed me to have it today also. I felt much better after that injection. His staff was also very accommodating and expressed concern for my health after the injection. I would highly recommend Dr. Ybarra.
